the constellations outside this porthole look all wrong
A downloadable game
the constellations outside this porthole look all wrong is a
storytelling game set on a lonely space station, hanging in
the vast loneliness of space, and the people that live there.
it’s a game where the rooms feel too large and too small all
at once; where you’re sure you know everyone’s name but
there’s still faces you’ve never seen before; and where,
sometimes, it feels like the outer limits of the final frontier
have been reached.
it’s a game where there’s no way to tell
for sure which way is up; where deciding how consistently you want to abide by the laws of physics will almost certainly save lives; and where gravity is almost
definitely a luxury.
if you like this game, i highly recommend you check out aleks samoylov's game this town is full of monsters, about a smallish community beset by mysterious eldritch forces, which inspired much of this game and much of my rpg design.
(i'm calling this v1 for now, but it may get another update as i do more playtesting and realize something-or-other doesn't work or needs tweaking. for now, this is how it exists. you can hear the original playtest version on follow the leader, arc 48, with thanks to my fellow players for being gracious enough to play an in-progress game for an important arc.)
