chimerical

chimerical is a series of seven poems written by the poet over the course of a year and a half as they grappled with one of the messiest non-breakups (and certainly the least healthy relationship) of their life. these are performance pieces that could never be performed; but to read any one without the other is to only see one tiny part of a wider story.

these poems have not been edited since their original writing date, provided on the final; as such they are raw and unfiltered versions of events and feelings as they transpired. the only subsequent editing has been for formatting.

the poems, of course, are dedicated to their subject, as these are the only decent things they left me when they left me. i doubt that they will ever see this; it's been five years since these events transpired. what else am i, the poet, to do except to finally share these with the world?

i intend to eventually create the auditory versions of these poems, but until then, have them in written format, if you like.
